Some more hard work
Posted by: Julien @ 11:19 am
I finally managed to finish everything I planned for the holidays:
- I uploaded final tovid 0.25 package to my repository. I am still working on splitting this binary package to several, so as to give a chance to users to install only the parts they need. Ubuntu users should be able to install them in the next upload, this is quite hard because of the different default Python version in Debian (2.3) and Ubuntu (2.4).
- I have also worked a lot on debugging gnome-power-manager, opening, closing and reopening a few bugs on Gnome Bugzilla, but also filed one bug against HAL, which prevents gpm to sending notifications when battery is fully loaded. I have also sent the updated French translation to Richard.
- I have almost finished writing the article about the installation of Debian on a Toshiba Satellite M40X-141 on kirya.net. Some parts still need rewriting. Please, do not hesitate to send your feedbacks if you feel you can complete the article!
- Last but not least, I have prepared a new upload of the freeloader package. I decided to swith to CDBS. This upload will close #351532 and allow freeloader to enter testing.
Now, I have to go back to work tomorrow, which means I will unfortunately have less free time.
